If there is one good thing about being in Hannover on an early Sunday morning, is exactly being there at that exact time.
If such a morning is a cloudy, windy, cold one it is even better. German cities tend to be pretty empty on Sundays, but seeing such a big downtown with no soul walking in it still shocks me.
One has the city for himself, being able to wander and to live those spaces at your own pleasure.
But the best comes when one walks along Goethestrasse and the city's purity is broken by the late-partygoers, the blaring music from the several clubs, and the turkish restaurants serving comforting food to the still-drunken souls.
The sight is a marvelous one, of apocaliptic nature, and all you can do is experience it, being a part of it while observing it as an outsider.
